John Ashqar is a Lebanese comedian, part of the Stand Up My Country program that aired on Cinemoz. He is also one of the founders of Rise Up Lebanon, an initiative working to mitigate the impact of the August 4 explosion and assist in implementing a sustainable and comprehensive recovery strategy.

John is also an entrepreneur, serving as a managing partner at Everythink, a store that produces tools, stationery, and board games designed and made in Lebanon. He is also a political activist who has been involved in the Lebanese civil society in recent years.
